The grate is suitable for most types of solid fuel and the ash pan comes with a removable tool.
The dimensions of the grate are 9.75″ at the back, 15.5″ at the front and 10″ from front to back inc the front.
Note the 16″ version is to fit an 16″opening so it actually measures 15.5″ at the front.
