Vermiculite for Fireplace
Large bag of Vermiculite for putting under the coals / logs on a gas fire or gas basket, this is usually required for older tray type inset or basket fires.

One bag is usually sufficient , up to 18″ fire / basket. Unless it is a particularly big basket fire.
This is not the same as the Silica Sand, which is finer in composition. We also sell silica sand, please click here.
Vermiculite has much bigger pieces and is lighter in composition.
