The finish on this front / fret is NOT shiny, it is a dull finish like brushed/satin Steel.
This front / fret is only suitable for gas or electric fires.
It is heavy quality item, beware of cheaper light weight items.
It is for a 16″ fire and will fit the 16″ inset gas or electric fires I have in my ebay shop.
Note that it actually measures 17.75″ to fit into a 18″ or 16″ hole.
